On December 14, 2024, the BRIDGE Institute, headed by Professor Miki Horie (RARA Associate Fellow), held a workshop on “Theory and Practice of International Education: Future Outlook of International Education for ‘Growing Together’.”

This workshop was held with the aim of discussing how international education should be with a wide range of participants, taking as its starting point the book “Intercultural sensitivity to be nurtured in international education: for interactive and deep learning in a multicultural environment (Gakubunsha)” (available only in Japanese), published by the BRIDGE Institute in March 2024. Participants involved in the planning and management of international education attended the event, actively engaging in group discussions and projects to deepen their understanding of the introduced theories by connecting them to their own educational practices.
