Prof. Satoshi Tanaka delivered an invited lecture at Poznan University of Technology, Poland

Prof. Satoshi Tanaka (RARA Fellow) delivered an invited lecture at Poznan University of Technology, Poland. The lecture hall was filled to capacity, with more than 150 participants attending the event.

Beginning in the 2026 academic year, an international collaborative project will be launched between Poznan University of Technology and the Art Research Center (ARC) of Ritsumeikan University, where Prof. Tanaka serves as a member of the steering committee. The invited lecture was held as a kickoff event for this new collaboration.

In this project, visualization technologies and software developed by Prof. Tanaka will be applied to the digital archiving of cultural heritage sites, including Gniezno Cathedral, which is currently being documented by Poznan University of Technology.
