On November 23, 2024, the 104th Fall Convention of the Japanese Society for Moral Education was held at Shizuoka University. The theme of the convention was “Moral Education to Face ‘Contemporary Issues’: Aiming to Nurture ‘Creators of Sustainable Society’” and many participants gathered from all over Japan. At the convention, Professor Miki Horie (RARA Associate Fellow) made a presentation and organized a roundtable discussion along with her co-researchers, entitled “The Potential of Intercultural Pedagogical Approaches to ‘Respect for Diversity’ in Moral Education: A Practical Case Study in a Private Elementary School.”
