The paper titled “Enhanced 3D monocular reconstruction of relief-type cultural heritage via an edge-matching module” by an international team of researchers from Japan, China, and Indonesia, led by Professor Satoshi Tanaka (RARA Fellow), has been awarded the Best Paper Award at the SINT4CH 2025 1st International Workshop on Spatial Intelligence for Cultural Heritage, a workshop on the application of AI in preserving and engaging with cultural heritage. This workshop was held in collaboration with the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) 2025, one of the most prestigious international conferences in the field of computer vision.
