On October 4, 2023, the “science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators,” a comprehensive list identifying the world’s top 2% of scientists, was updated by Stanford University and Elsevier, and a total of eight RARA Fellows and Associate Fellows were included.
This list is based on information from Scopus (a bibliographic database) and entails an analysis of researchers worldwide who have published at least five papers in 22 research fields and 174 sub-fields. They were evaluated using a combination of indicators such as total number of citations (excluding self-citations), h-index, number of single-authored papers, and number of papers with individual citations.
