Associate Professor Ryo Sakurai Appeared on NHK World-Japan

Associate Professor Ryo Sakurai (RARA Associate Fellow) appeared on the NHK World-Japan radio broadcast.
Under the title ‘Deadly Wave of Bear Attacks in Japan,’ Assoc. Prof. Sakurai explained the current situation and challenges regarding bear attacks in Japan. Additionally, in reference to an educational program being implemented in Shiretoko, Hokkaido, he stated that to fundamentally resolve the bear issue, it is important to build a society that can coexist with bears.
