The IEEJ-E APCOT Best Paper Award was bestowed upon a paper presented by Professor Satoshi Konishi (RARA Fellow) and Mr. Yuto Hori, a Ph.D. student belonging to Prof. Konishi’s laboratory, at the international conference APCOT2024 held on June 23, 2024. The title of the paper is “Searching Stiffness Singularity Using Directional Palpation by a Microfinger and Its Scanning Condition Dependence,” and it was in addition to the Professor Wen Ko’s Best Paper Award, which they received at the conference site in June.

 

Furthermore, a paper presented by Prof. Konishi, Associate Professor Shinji Bono (Research Organization of Science and Technology), and Mr. Yoshinori Miyata belonging to Prof. Konishi’s laboratory, was granted the IEEJ-E APCOT Excellent Paper Award. The title of the paper is “Mixing of Multiple Solutions by Selective Dispensing Using Volume Control in Droplet-Array Sandwiching Technology.”

 

*Both Mr. Hori and Mr. Miyata have been selected as RARA Student Fellows, who are expected to play an active role as next-generation researchers.
